Buddy Nose started in our home in Southern California, where life is full with kids, dogs, and the everyday mess that comes with it. As a pet-loving family, we’ve had all kinds of dogs over the years, and no matter how much we cleaned, pet odors always found a way into our home.

I was constantly washing their beds, blankets, clothes, and toys, trying different detergents and even using pet colognes just to keep things smelling fresh. Things would look clean, but the smell always came back, and it felt like nothing was actually solving the problem.

We have a professional janitorial cleaning business, so we understand what it takes to remove deep odors and stubborn stains/buildup. But pet laundry turned out to be a completely different challenge, and that’s when I realized regular detergent just wasn’t made for this.

So I decided to create something better, starting with my own home.
